Most people think of Vietnam as a war. But the old history has all gone. Now peace and safety resides. It’s opening to the world as a friendly and exotic place on earth to be.
So why don’t you think of coming. I’ll name some of the reasons why you should:
1. It’s a new place. It’s not touristy like in Thailand and many places you go, people go stunned by your appearance.
2. It’s safe and friendly. The majority of people in Vietnam are farmers. Pure farmers. Many of them have never learnt of much apart from the village they were born in. Naturally, they’re almost all friendly safe to be around. Moreover, the communist government does a good job in ensuring securities all over the country. Nothing of a crime has happened to tourists anymore for the last a decade.
3. Its has lots to see: A thin country stretching for thousands of Km from North to South. It has beautiful mountain with colorful hill tribes. It has highlands with their everlasting rudimentary traditions. It has beaches and many of those are considered best in the world but still, they’re not touristy. Sound cool enough?
4. It’s cheap. If you want to, then 1 dollar could buy you a basic lunch or dinner. Wandering around and you want to find somewhere to sit and drink? Mostly you don’t have to pay more than one dollar for it.
5. Is travel here convenient? Sure, many companies operate the open bus (good quality in general) and they run almost to every capital cities in the country. Moving around is very easy.

Depart forHoa Lu (Ninh Binh), enjoying the rural scenery along the road. Visit Hoa Lu old citadel. In the afternoon, take a rowing boat along the tiny canal among the rice fields to visit Tam Coc (Three Grottoes). 16:00 Tour ends. Overnight at Thuy Anh hotel.
Day 2 : Ninh Binh – MaiChau ( B, L,D)
Morning: 7.30 am departure to Mai Chau. On the way to Mai chau, pay a Visit to Hang Pagoda (Ancient Cave pagoda) to enjoy a peaceful scenarios and to get a more understanding of the most popular religion – Buddismn. Visiting a Muong ethnic minority village to see stilt-house and their lives. 12.30 am lunch at restaurant.
Afternoon: 1.30 pm drive to MalChau. Homestay 0vernight stilt house – Lac village (Mai Chau guesthouse). Go shopping around Lac Village. Walking throughout some White Thai villages to see people making traditional dress and stools. 7.00 pm diner.
Day 3 : Mai Chau – Xa Linh – Ha Noi (B,L)
Morning: 7.30 am Breakfast. Leave for Xa Linh at 8.00 am, Visiting H’’ Mong ethnic minority village (Pa Co market held on Sunday) to enjoy the daily life of the local people. Walking through plum & peach gardens to contemplate peaceful scenery. 12.30 am lunch at restaurant.
Afternoon: On the way to Ha Noi stop at Hoa Binh Hydro power Station to see how the greatest power station was built in the war. Return to Hanoi Noi at 4.30 pm.

Day 1:Hanoi -Maichau[L,D]
8:00 AM 
ick up at your hotel in Hanoi. Drive to Hoa binh( about 2 hours). Short stop for break and coffee. Drive on to Man Duc for lunch. Leave Man Duc to Muong village where you can do a short walk for 2 hours. then drive on to Mai chau with few stops on the way for taking pictures.
Go around the valley before having dinner at a stilt house of Thai minority village. Night in the village. Clean and comfortable matress, blanket and pillow are provided.
Day 2 Maichau Trekking:[B,L,D]
Whole day trek. 8:00 AM: Transfer by bus to Sam khoe village, some 20 km further from Mai Chau. Start trekking through villages. Enjoy beautiful, peaceful scenery along the path. Picnic lunch en route. The trek takes about 6 hours to get back to Mai Chau with a lot of stops on the way. Dinner and night in the village.
Day 3 Maichau -Hanoi [ B,L]
After breakfast drive back to Hanoi. Tour ends at your hotel around 12:00.

Vietnam is considered to be one of the top twenty-five regions in the world to possess a high level of bio-diversity, making Vietnam holidays interesting and beautiful. Hosting two World Heritage sites and six World Biosphere Reserves, the natural wonders in the country are plentiful, and visits to these are great additions to Vietnam tours.
Can Gio Mangrove Forest
40km southeast of Ho Chi Minh City, lies the Can Gio Mangrove Forest, a beautiful wetland area and UNESCO biosphere reserve, a must-see site on any Vietnam luxury holiday, especially for eco-enthusiasts. Dominated by mangrove forest, this area is home to many rare plants, with over 150 botanical species found in the region.
About 20,000ha of mangrove forest can be found here. Living within the forest, are a recorded 18 mollusk, 45 fish, 3 amphibians and 27 crustaceans. Birdlife is also prolific in the area, making it an environment definitely worth preserving, and a worthwhile trip for any nature or bird lover on a Vietnam tour. On a non-environmental level, the area is also an important source of wood and materials, and also plays a role in protecting the coastline from erosion.
Cat Tien National Park
Also located in Vietnam’s south is the Cat Tien National Park, forming 720 km² of tropical rain forests. While the park’s fauna may be under threat, it is impressive nonetheless. Large animals such as the Javan rhino, Asian elephant, bear species and buffalos can be spotted on Vietnam holidays here. And the smaller animals are here in impressive numbers too, with species of gibbon, macaques, deer and shrews all habituating within the park. Birds too, are remarkable in their numbers, with beautiful species such as white-winged ducks, Siamese firebacks, great hornbills and black eagles all residing there.
Red River Delta
The Red River Delta comprises some 15,000 km² of flat plain. This is a beautiful and unique region, formed by the Red River and its tributaries joining the Thai Binh River. It is well preserved by a dike system, and is rich in agriculture, resulting in a large population.
